BEIJING, Aug. 16, 2017 – NBA China today announced that tickets for NBA China Games 2017 presented by Master Kong featuring the 2017 NBA Champion Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves will go on sale Aug. 18.
The Warriors and Timberwolves will play Oct. 5 in Shenzhen at the Shenzhen Universiade Center, followed by a rematch in Shanghai at the Mercedes-Benz Arena on Oct. 8.
NBA China has partnered with promoter iRENA Group and co-promoter AEG Presents Asia to provide fans with convenient ways to purchase tickets.  Fans can purchase tickets through official ticketing partners Wesai, Damai and Yongle.
The games will mark the Warriors’ third trip to China following visits in 2008 and 2013.  The Timberwolves will be playing in China for the first time and appearing in their ninth and 10th international games since 1999.  The games, which will be available worldwide on television, digital and social media, will also feature a variety of off-court activities, including the sixth NBA Fan Day presented by Dongfeng Nissan on Oct. 7 in Shanghai. 
The Warriors’ roster currently features two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry, 2017 NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant, three-time NBA All-Star Klay Thompson and two-time NBA All-Star Draymond Green.
The Timberwolves’ roster currently features back-to-back NBA Rookies of the Year Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins, as well as three-time NBA All-Star Jimmy Butler.
NBA China Games 2017 is presented by Master Kong and supported by American Airlines, Chivas Regal, Cisco, Clear, DF Nissan, ExxonMobil, Gatorade, Harbin Beer, Marriott, Mengniu, Nike, SAP, Tissot, Vivo and 2K.  The NBA and its partners will conduct a variety of interactive fan events, consumer promotions and community events that will bring the NBA China Games experience to fans inside the arenas and across China.  Through these programs lucky fans will have the opportunity to win tickets to the games.
Following NBA China Games 2017, 14 NBA teams will have played 24 games in Greater China since 2004, in Beijing, Guangzhou, Macao, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Taipei. As part of NBA China Games, NBA Cares, together with NBA teams and players, has hosted more than 50 community outreach events and built more than 10 spaces where children and their families can learn, live and play.
